Perhaps Not What You’re Thinking
The idea of “nudism” translated to a home environment is not meant to convey a bunch of people living 24/7 naked. Really, think of the furniture! It’s more the idea that in the course of the day being naked is a natural state and, really, why rush it? Do you really need to cover-up straight away after a shower? What about drying off naked in the backyard (season permitting), or getting another cuppa in the kitchen while starkers?
Like my wife, my sister-in-law is very matter of fact about nudity in general. When you visit her she and her girls are in no rush to cover up or hide their bodies in any way, meaning bathroom doors are seldom shut tight, getting dressed seems to involve every room in the house, and the kitchen is a fine place to be seen in your underwear, etc.
My introduction to my sister-in-law’s MO concerning dress codes occurred when I was standing naked at the dresser in her guestroom filing my nails. She bounced in (fully clothed this time) with a stack of fresh towels, saw me standing there, did a quick scan, smiled, and said “here you go,” handing them over. Of course she didn’t close the door when she left, which faced straight down a hallway into her kitchen, where her girls were eating breakfast. Later, she and my wife sunbathed topless in the back yard, acting as natural as can be. Fortunately they’re both very trim and attractive. I didn’t feel bad at all taking their picture from the guestroom window.
Casual nudity at home, or home nudism if you insist, is really a boon in my opinion. It’s pleasant. If the people that inhabit your life take care of themselves it’s a joy to see them enjoying their own nudity in a carefree manner. While it’s not sexual, it adds a layer of intimacy between all concerned. When we’re all dressed for dinner or going out we share a knowledge of each other that makes up feel connected. Think of anyone who has seen you naked in a casual way (of the opposite sex). That’s the drift. You do remember those times - we all do. (“Nudist House: It’s More Than That”)
